Liz Huntley shares her inspirational story of an Alabama woman who overcame tremendous adversity to become a successful attorney, motivational speaker and member of the Auburn University Board of Trustees. Scared, abused and taken to the limit of a person’s capacity to endure, Liz reveals the perils of a childhood that would lead most to a broken life or premature death. Thanks to the intervention of caring educators and others, Liz recounts her journey from unimaginable darkness to radiance, and reminds us of the amazing impact that development professionals can make on those around us by identifying and empowering ambassadors of hope.
